TRENCH SCOUT

Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

The short version: Trench Scout doesn't collect personal data, doesn't track you and never touches your wallet. The only thing it sends anywhere is the address of the coins you check, and your license key if you bought Pro on Gumroad.

Trench Scout is a Chrome extension and this website, run by [your name] in [your country] (“we”). This policy explains what data each of them handles.

What the extension sends, and where

  • The address of the coin you check goes to RugCheck (api.rugcheck.xyz) and DexScreener (api.dexscreener.com), so they can return public data about that coin, and to Jupiter (lite-api.jup.ag or api.jup.ag) for the coin's price and a quote for selling it. The sell test is only a quote: no wallet is involved and nothing is traded. With Pro's rug alarm, the addresses of the coins you watch go to RugCheck and DexScreener every few minutes. Their own privacy policies cover those requests.
  • Scores on coin lists: on Padre's trenches, pump.fun's board and DexScreener's lists, the addresses of the coins on your screen go to the same services, one at a time, so each coin can show its score. You can switch this off under Account in the extension.
  • Your license key, if you activate one from Gumroad, goes to Gumroad (api.gumroad.com) to confirm it. This happens when you activate it and about once a week after that.
  • Nothing else. The extension has no analytics, no tracking and no server of ours. Your browser talks to those services directly.

What the extension keeps on your computer

  • Your plan, your license key and when it was last confirmed.
  • How many free checks you used today, and which coins, so a coin you already checked stays free. This resets every day.
  • Where you placed the panel and whether it is minimized, and your two settings for scores on coin lists.
  • A few numbers from your recent checks (up to 300 coins), such as the score, liquidity and holders, so the panel can show what changed since your last check.
  • With Pro: the coins on your rug alarm and the alerts it sent, for up to 7 days per coin, and the dev wallets you blocked.

Rug alarm alerts are shown by Chrome as desktop notifications on your computer. They don't go through any server.

This stays in Chrome's extension storage on your computer. We can't see it, and uninstalling the extension deletes it.

When you buy Pro

  • Card and PayPal payments are handled by Gumroad, which sells to you as the merchant of record. Gumroad shares your email address and order details with us so we can support your purchase. Gumroad's own privacy policy covers your payment details; we never see your card.
  • Payments in SOL or USDC are public on the Solana blockchain. We keep the transaction link, the handle you send us and the ID of the key we issue, so we can support your license and handle refunds.

This website

The website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. The company that hosts it may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

If you let us feature your review on this site, we show your name or handle, your words and a link to your post, nothing else. Ask us any time and we'll take it down.

Some of our links carry a source tag, such as a link ending in /tt for TikTok. When you arrive through one, the “Add to Chrome” button passes that tag on to the Chrome Web Store, so we can see which channel brings installs in the store's own statistics. The tag is kept in your browser tab only and is never linked to you.

What we never do

  • Sell or share your data.
  • Ask for your wallet, seed phrase or private keys.
  • Read the websites you visit, apart from coin addresses on Padre, pump.fun, DexScreener, Axiom, Photon and BullX: the coin page you open, and the coins in a list on your screen.
  • Buy, sell or move anything for you.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you (usually just your purchase details) and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to [your email] or reach us on [your Telegram or X]. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Age

Trench Scout is meant for adults. It isn't intended for anyone under 18.
